The math

Lump sum Jackpot × 57% (cash option) → taxes ~42% → investable pool.

Annuity Jackpot ÷ term (20–30 years) → taxes ~42% → annual net payment.

Investment returns use a default 7% annual rate — a conservative estimate based on diversified index fund history (the S&P 500 has averaged ~10% historically; 7% accounts for inflation). You can adjust this in the strategy step.
